An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line involving the winner, Trustintimes (GB), ridden by Bryan Carver, and Hope Rising (IRE), placed second, ridden by Gavin Sheehan.
Carver was suspended for 2 days for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear, causing Sheehan to have to check his mount and move it right-handed to avoid clipping heels.
Following the race, William Shanahan reported that Justlikefire (GB), placed fourth, hung badly right- handed, and Tabitha Worsley reported that Miz Klimt (IRE), unplaced, ran green.
