The Starter reported that Coolagh Magic (GB) was unruly in the stalls and was withdrawn at 8:47pm.
Anthony Carson was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Megan Smith, the rider of Alafdhal (IRE), placed fifth, beaten by a nose had appeared to stop riding shortly before the winning post.
Being a 7lb claiming apprentice, Smith was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Smith was suspended for 4 days for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing on a horse that would have finished fourth.
