Kennedy's century arrives on Master Haku
He’s actually a grand horse. To be honest, I wasn’t even that keen to run him only for that fact that Jack is going for the championship. I think there is plenty of improvement in him, you can see the size of him, he’s having a real good blow there. Jack was happy with him and said he did everything grand. He had two nice runs, but pulled a muscle behind and that’s why we ended up missing so much time with him. I think there will be plenty of improvement. I might give him the month of May off and then see how we go.

Chemdawg dominates off the front in Kilbeggan
We ran her the last day in Limerick and she was out in front most of the way. She probably went quicker than she went today. He just gave her a few breathers today and it helped to get her home. She’s comfortable leaping out in front. She’s not consistent, though - she ran a few times and was pulled up, so we’re happy to get that one. She was starting to tire a bit coming to the line, but it worked out well for her. We’ll maybe look for a mares' race in that category. She wants cut in the ground and there is a good cut in the ground here this evening.
Rothwell consolidates lead in William Hill Challenge Series with 1-2 in R5 at Kilbeggan
I’m thrilled. Darragh and I would be very good friends, we don’t get him as often now as we have our own people at home. I’m delighted to support him and try and get him a winner or two. It’s wonderful for the owners (Nice Little Earner Syndicate), they are a great bunch of guys. He ran a nice race in Cork the last day. I said to Darragh that he was probably a big horse for around here and to take his time and sneak away. He’s class. Tiernan (Power Roche) gave the other horse (Plain Or Battered) a very good ride to finish second as well, he stayed going really well. I didn’t think either horse would handle the track but, with the night that’s in it (leading the William Hill Each Way Extra Challenge Series), we had to give it a good go. It’s marvellous that it’s paid off. Winning the series is huge and that helps with the stable staff prize as well. I know Gavin (Cromwell) is chasing us hard for that. It’s lovely winning my own prize, but it would be fabulous if we could win the stable staff one as well.

Tell Nobody Nothin comes home well in race of changing fortunes
He’s been threatening to do that for a while. I don’t know what to make of him, maybe that’s his trip. When you’d run him over two-and-a-half(miles), it looked like he wanted three but, when you run him over three, he looked like he wanted two-and-a-half. He’s been disappointing. The race kind of fell apart in front of him which was a help, but he did find plenty today which was strange. Maybe he’ll come good for us now. His mother was a good mare and he’s a gorgeous-looking horse.
McGill grabs Kilbeggan double on Kershaw
I’m delighted to get my first bumper winner. I’ve had this horse since he was a foal. I bought him off John Kidd, he was a gorgeous foal. He ran a savage race in his point-to-point around Loughanmore, it was a really fast time. The winner was Mister Pessimistic and the race has produced a few winners. We just couldn’t get a bit of nice ground for him, it was a rotten winter. He got blocked three times running down the hill in Down Royal and couldn’t get out. If he had got out, he would have been a good second. Coming here, I wasn’t sure how he’d handle the track. I thought he had a bit of class and he’s proved it. He’s done really good bits of work around Dreaper’s field and his homework has been great. He’s a brilliant hurdler and we’ll see what happens. He’s in my own colours and there were a lot of boys interested in him after his point-to-point. If the price is right we might sell him.
