Approximately 3 furlongs out Hope You Can Run (IRE), placed fifth, shifted right-handed whilst racing greenly, moving Denis Anthony, placed fourth, off its intended line causing it to make contact with Outrace (IRE), unplaced.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and had not improved the placing of Hope You Can Run (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference passing 2 furlongs out involving Hope You Can Run (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Ben Curtis; IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU (IRE), placed third, ridden by Daniel Tudhope; the winner Wonder Legend, ridden by Daniel Muscutt and Denis Anthony (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Rowan Scott.
The interference was found to be accidental and caused by Hope You Can Run (IRE) initially hanging right-handed and making contact with Denis Anthony (IRE) before Hope You Can Run (IRE) then became unbalanced and shifted left-handed at the same time as It's All About You (IRE) lugged slightly right-handed away from Wonder Legend which also hung slightly right-handed into its path when quickening up on the inside and resulted in Hope You Can Run (IRE) having to be significantly checked when running out of racing room.
