An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the bend at the top of the hill involving Jetaway Joey (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Mr Jack Andrews, Polish (GB), which subsequently fell, ridden by Mr Tom Broughton, the winner, What A Glance (GB), ridden by Mr Murray Dodd, and Yippee Ki Yay (IRE), placed second, ridden by Mr Milo Herbert.
The riders were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, but due to insufficient camera footage it was not possible to apportion blame for the interference caused to Jetaway Joey (IRE) and Yippee Ki Yay (IRE).
