The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Ms E.L. Herbison, rider of The Monkey Pole, weighed in at 1.4lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who could not account for the excess weight carried. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Ms E.L. Herbison was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered her clean record in this regard they cautioned her on this occasion.
