The winner, How And Ever (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Leicester on 21 January 2025 where the gelding was pulled up.
Oliver Signy could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improved form, other than that How And Ever (IRE) may have stripped fitter from its last run.
The performance of Illogical Logic (FR) which started favourite and was pulled up, was considered.
Christian Williams could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance.
The Veterinary Officer examined Illogical Logic (FR) post-race during routine testing and found the gelding to be lame on it's left-fore.
