An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 1 ½ furlongs out when Cosmic Force (GB), placed third, ridden by Billy Loughnane interfered with Miakoda (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Darragh Keenan and Piranha Rama (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jordan Williams.
Loughnane was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he angled for a gap with insufficient room giving a bump to Miakoda (IRE) and subsequently a minor bump to Piranha Rama (GB).
Following the race, Marco Ghiani reported that Foro Romano (IRE), placed second, ran too free, and Billy Loughnane reported that Cosmic Force (GB), placed third, was slowly away and hung left-handed under pressure.
