Brett Johnson's explanation that the gelding was badly interfered with at Lingfield was noted.
True Belief (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Ed de Giles' representative reported that Doubly Beautiful (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by the going, which was officially described as Soft on this occasion, and would prefer a quicker surface.
