Following the race, Craig Nichol reported that Backbyjet (IRE), which was pulled up, made a bad mistake at the eleventh fence and never travelled thereafter, the Veterinary Officer examined the gelding post-race during routine testing and found Backbyjet (IRE) to have an irregular heartbeat.
