After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, the rider was suspended for 1 day.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend, involving Time To Sparkle (GB), unplaced, ridden by John Egan and the winner, Eastern Veil (GB), ridden by Jason Watson.
Egan was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to edge left-handed when not fully clear, causing Watson to take a slight check.
Approximately 1 furlong out, Make Her Believe (IRE), unplaced, shifted right-handed into the path of Moon Is Up (IRE), unplaced, whilst racing greenly, causing the rider of Moon Is Up (IRE), to switch his mount left-handed to avoid its heels, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Jack Callan reported that Miss India (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away from the stalls.
