Hugo Palmer’s representative’s explanation that King Of Thunder (GB) had benefited from being gelded was noted and King Of Thunder (GB) was routine tested.
The performance of Territorial Star (GB), which finished ninth of eleven runners, beaten by a distance of 10¾ lengths, was considered.
The representative of Stella Barclay’s explanation that the filly ran too freely on the step up in trip to 7 furlongs, was noted.
Following the race, Jack Callan reported that March Ahead (GB), placed fourth, hung right-handed.
