Miracle Garden (GB), trained by Roy Brotherton, had arrived in the Parade Ring without its declared blinkers, which were then located and fitted on the gelding before going to the start.
After being interviewed, Brotherton was cautioned.
Following the race, Gina Mangan reported that Amor Fati (IRE), placed eighth, was reluctant to race which resulted in the gelding being very slowly away.
Ben Robinson reported that The Mackem Torpedo (GB), which started favourite and finished second, ran too free and Hollie Doyle reported that her saddle slipped shortly after the start on Boy George (GB), placed sixth.
