Approximately 2 furlongs out, the rider of Erosion Risk (IRE), unplaced, preventatively eased her mount from a tight gap in-between Airshow (GB), placed third and Montauk Point (IRE), placed fifth, as those runners moved past her, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of either Airshow (GB) or Montauk Point (IRE).
Following the race, Rhiain Ingram reported that Erosion Risk (IRE), unplaced, stopped quickly.
