Roeillaun gains deserved success
I think she has been a bit unlucky. The last day (Naas), she was drawn on the wrong side and had to do all the racing on her own. I think if she had been on the right side, she would have been okay. The same thing at the Curragh the time before. She's probably unfortunate to be a maiden until now. She's a nice filly and she's in the 'Million' and that other race in Naas, so we'll see where we go. We possibly might have a rattle at money, we have paid the money and we might go. He (Keane) said he cruised the last half furlong.
Lars Soldiers on
He said he lost his iron about a furlong down and he was well balanced; it is all about balance. We'll probably be trying to go for the Birdcatcher (Naas) now to get the bonus if you win it (€20,000 bonus as a winner of a qualifying nursery handicap). He's a competitive little horse and, at the end of the day, he was entitled to take his chance. He has been knocking on the door, and we tried him over seven (furlongs), but the opposition we were running against was very high. We came back into a nursery there and he is very competitive. Wesley is very competitive on light weights and for the size of him, he is very strong. I think he only has one or two (winners) left on his apprenticeship. He's well capable.

Moltophino doubles his tally
He was unlucky in the big sprint in the Curragh (Rockingham) over five (furlongs) earlier in the year. I'd say that is a good filly, Bear On The Run, of Danny Murphy's that beat him the last day over six (furlongs) in the Curragh. I'd say she is a Listed filly, and I always thought that horse might be a Listed horse. He was down to a weight and a mark where he should be winning. I thought he would win today. He goes with a bit of dig in it, and we might go for the Joe McGrath (Curragh) maybe.
Flowers bloom early in September
She had a lovely run the first day in Cork, and ran nice enough in Roscommon where the race didn't really work out for her and she was trapped wide, so we thought she was better than that. She's a filly that has shown ability at home and this race worked out lovely for her. Obviously, first box ticked for her, and we will try and get a bit of black-type for her. She might go to the Denny Cordell (Lavarack Stakes, Group 3) at Gowran. I know it is over nine and a half (furlongs) and go from there. If she doesn't get there, on to the Garnet Stakes (Listed Naas). Obviously, it is a stiff mile here, and it would be an easy nine and a half in Gowran.
African wins in a one-way Affair
We've always liked him,. I really thought today the ground was going to be too fast. He looked very uncomfortable down the back, and then Robbie said he just gave him a chance to get into it and then away he went.
Millhone readily sheds maiden tag
Handani gets his head in front in the finale
He set the standard and he deserved to win,. He has been very consistent every time he has run. He did (roll home professionally today), but he was very professional at the Curragh the other day when he got beaten half a length and a head - and tried awful hard. He got his reward today - probably a slightly weaker race and he did the same battling performance. I'm very happy with him. We will move him through the grades slowly.
