An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line involving New Business (GB), placed fourth, ridden by William Buick, Novus (IRE), placed second, ridden by Ryan Moore, and Tiger Bay (GB), placed third, ridden by Trevor Whelan.
Buick was suspended for 2 days for careless riding for allowing his mount to drift right-handed without timely correction, causing Novus (IRE) to be checked in his run, which in turn caused Tiger Bay (GB) to be momentarily inconvenienced.
Following the race, Andrea Atzeni reported that Empty Metaphor (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling.
