Paddy said to me that he seems to be improving with every run. He was keen today, but finished out the race well. That's what we thought (go well at another undulating track as his previous wins were in Kilbeggan) - as Paddy said to me there, he travelled well and felt stronger than the last day he rode him. Obviously, he is improving too. He's moving up (in the weights) and we will see what the man (handicapper) does tomorrow, but I thought coming here he was in good nick. Find good ground and an undulating track and go from there. They are all running well and they all seem to like nice ground. We have been waiting on a bit of nice ground, so it has been working well for us.

He's a tough little horse. He ran a great race first run in a handicap (at Sligo) and then Sean (O'Keeffe) rode him the last day and we fancied him. He had a real clear passage and then a horse just side on hit him in Tramore, and Sean said he wasn't travelling after that and he just was easy on him. I'm delighted for Conor; he does a lot of schooling for me. He's a good lad and he is always available and he would school a lot of the horses for me. Sean O'Keeffe usually rides my horses, but Conor does all the schooling for me in the Curragh. He is a brilliant schooling jockey. It is great to see him getting the winners now because he is some value for his claim. He gave that a brilliant ride. Conor actually rode my first runner probably six years ago at the start of August, so I know Conor a good while. We'll tip away with Blue Moon Boy. I was going to run him in the 0-100 and the conditions of this race were like a 95 - 110. He is 95 and he got in with the allowance and Conor did the weight on him. I'm delighted for the owner (Gerhard Matte). It is his third win for us and he bred him. I've never met the man; he lives in Germany and is a doctor. He's going to be a nice dual-purpose horse. He's only a four-year-old.

She's nice. She's Warren(Ewing)’s obviously and he had done a lot of work with her over the wintertime. She kind of missed her slot to go in the point-to-points. He had always liked her. He had her at the sales and I looked at her and liked her. He wasn't prepared to take what I was going to give him at that stage!. She just wasn't ready for the point-to-points and Warren gave her to me a couple of months ago. The filly has improved hand over fist the last lot of weeks. You couldn't have faulted today. That nice ground there suited her and she is a good-moving animal. She did it well and she is probably green enough, still a wee bit lonely in front. A lead for longer, she would have hopefully run better. Get a start with her and take it from there. She's only a four-year-old and we'll see if there's something else later in the summer. She's a nice one to go and have a bit of fun with. Hopefully, we can do that. The way she ran there today, you wouldn't be afraid to go in a better bumper with her and give her a chance. Stephen was pretty confident; he has been riding her a fair bit at home there lately.
