The Veterinary Officer reported that upon inspection Takeitorleaveit (IRE) was brown and not bay as published in the racecard.
The apparent improvement in from of the winner Takeitorleaveit (IRE), which had never previously been placed, was considered.
Jonathan Portman’s explanation that the gelding benefited from the application of the first-time cheek pieces, being gelded as well as the Going, officially described as Soft, was noted.
Takeitorleaveit (IRE), was routine tested.
Following the race, Ed de Giles’ representative reported that Lady Lauren (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by the Going, officially described as Soft.
