Nigel Tinkler’s explanation that Captain Bruce (IRE) had benefited from a drop in grade from a class 5 event on its previous start at Southwell on 17 August 2025 to a class 6 on this occasion was noted.
Captain Bruce (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Dougie Costello reported that Imso Friendly (IRE), placed third, hung left-handed under pressure.
