Approximately five furlongs out, Sweet Kiss (GB), unplaced, edged right-handed causing Sure And Stedfast (IRE), placed third, to become short of room and unbalanced resulting in the gelding giving a bump to Fast Fred (GB), unplaced.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 4 ½ furlongs out, involving Fast Fred (GB), unplaced, ridden by Harry Burns and Sure And Stedfast (IRE), placed third, ridden by Tom Kiely- Marshall.
The interference was found to be accidental and was caused by Fast Fred (GB) edging slightly left-handed at the same time as Sweet Kiss (GB), unplaced, lugged right-handed and stepped in, causing Sure And Stedfast (IRE) to become short of room resulting in Kiely-Marshall taking a check.
Just inside the final two furlongs, the winner, Letsbefrank (IRE), edged left-handed causing Sweet Kiss (GB), unplaced, to become short of room and its rider to take a check.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Letsbefrank (IRE).
