Inside the final furlong, Kiss Me My Love (IRE), placed third, edged marginally left-handed causing the rider of Captain Pickles (IRE), placed fourth, to check for several strides which in turn cased The Vital Spark (GB), placed fifth, to be short for room on the rail.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Kiss Me My Love (IRE).
Following the race, Cam Hardie reported that Unthinkable (IRE), unplaced, hung right-handed and Jason Hart reported that Captain Pickles (IRE), placed fourth, suffered interference inside the final furlong.
