Rathlin Rose (IRE) wore earplugs in the preliminaries which were removed at the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the final bend when Rathlin Rose (IRE), placed third, ridden by Tom Scudamore, interfered with Belle Empress (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Ben Jones.
Scudamore was cautioned for careless riding for allowing his mount to edge left-handed without correction giving Belle Empress (GB) on his inside a bump and causing Jones having to take a slight check off the heels of the leader, Christmas In April (FR).
The Racecourse Medical Officer reported that Dave Crosse had failed to report to her immediately following his fall.
The matter was referred to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
