THE FREE RACEDAY 9 MARCH MAIDEN HURDLE RACE (CLASS 4) (GBB RACE) An enquiry was held to consider interference after jumping the final flight of hurdles involving Five Bar Gate (IRE), placed second, ridden by Conor O'Farrell and the winner, Innamorato (FR), ridden by Harry Cobden.
O'Farrell was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without timely correction, which in turn gave a bump to Innamorato (FR) and caused it taken off its intended line.
