Flying Sakhee (GB) unseated its rider on the way to post but was caught immediately.
Having been examined by the doctor and Veterinary Surgeon at the start, both the rider and mare were deemed fit to race.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 3 furlongs out when Lady Monica (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Royston Ffrench, interfered with Majorette (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Trevor Whelan, which in turn interfered with Flying Sakhee (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Kieran O'Neill.
The interference was found to be accidental as Lady Monica (GB) had edged marginally left-handed at the same time as Your Choice (GB), placed seventh, shifted briefly right-handed, resulting in Majorette (GB) being carried slightly off its intended line, which in turn caused Flying Sakhee (GB) to clip heels.
