Smokey Lane (IRE) ran yesterday, 7 October 2019, at Windsor.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Officer, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
Permission was given for Zapper Cass (FR) and Elzaam's Dream (IRE) to go early to post.
Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Miss Liberty Belle (AUS) had refused to race and was deemed to be a runner.
The performance of Quirky Gertie (IRE), which started favourite and finished last of seven, was considered.
Andrea Atzeni reported that the filly stopped quickly and the representative of Mick Channon added that this may have been due to Quirky Gertie (IRE) having had a hard race on similar ground at Hamilton 8 days ago.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, William Cox, the rider of Hey Ho Let's Go (GB), placed sixth, and Nathan Evans, the rider of Dodgy Bob (GB), placed third, both reported that their mounts hung right.
