The winner, Gilt Edge (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Chepstow, on 12 July 2024, where the mare finished twelfth of fifteen, beaten by 11 lengths.
Christopher Mason’s explanation that the mare had benefitted from being more positively ridden on this occasion, was noted.
Gilt Edge (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Mikkel Mortensen reported that Mudlahhim (IRE), placed fifth, ran flat.
