Jennie Candlish was asked to explain why she was running Hostile Hotelier (IRE) here at Ffos Las on going described as Heavy, Soft in places having reported that the gelding was unsuited by ground with the same official description on 4 April 2024 at Southwell.

An enquiry was held to consider interference leaving the back straight on the first circuit involving Valens Bruyee (IRE), placed second, ridden by Callum Pritchard; Fame And Fun (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Shane Fenelon and Wot You Wearing (IRE), which was pulled up, ridden by Dylan Johnston.
The interference was found to be accidental as Valens Bruyee (IRE) stepped slightly left-handed which resulted in Wot You Wearing (IRE) backing out of the gap, that in turn caused Fame And Fun (IRE), who was racing on its quarters, to clip a heel and stumble.
Following the race, Dylan Johnston reported that Wot You Wearing (IRE), which was pulled up, was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Kiss My Face (GB), which was pulled up, had lost its left- fore shoe.
