She was green that day and it sharpened her up. When we didn't get her sold (at Cheltenham in April), we said we'd rock on with her. We quietly fancied her, but you never know what you're coming up against in a bumper. She went through the gap quickly when it opened, and it was a good performance. The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the home straight involving Peat Sounds, ridden by Mr P.W. Mullins, placed third and River Moy, ridden by Mr B.M. Coonan, placed fourth, where it appeared that interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr P.W. Mullins stated that he felt there were no bumps and he had not suffered interference. Mr B.M. Coonan stated that he felt he had suffered no interference. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards made no alteration to the judge's placings and were satisfied that no further action was warranted

An I.N.H. flat race for four years old and upwards mares only that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing (excluding Academy Hurdles and 3-y-o Junior N.H. Hurdles) that are EBF eligible Weights - 4-y-o 11st 8lbs 5-y-o and up 11st 11lbs. Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. Riders who are Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (up to and including 2nd August) may also ride in this race. (The winning owner of this race will receive a €5000 bonus (€7500 bonus if Irish bred and has not previously won a bonus payment in an Academy Hurdle) should the winning filly be eligible for the Weatherbys Ireland/I.T.B.A. N.H.
