The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Glyfada, ridden by G.M. Ryan, Mo Mhuirin, ridden by A.J. Slattery, and What About Us (GB), ridden by D. Browne McMonagle where it appeared Mo Mhuirin ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned

G. M. Ryan stated that his mount was green and rolled back in slightly. A. J. Slattery stated that he took a precautionary check. D. Browne McMonagle stated that he maintained his line but his mount rolled out very slightly. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action. Mr C. Murphy recused himself from this enquiry

A.J. Slattery, rider of Mo Mhuirin, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he had to take a check one furlong out

J. Pietropaolo, rider of Flawless Fusion, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around when she came off the bridle

G.M. Ryan, rider of Glyfada, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was a little intimidated at the two furlong pole and rolled around after that.
