when she jumped out of the gates I was thinking ‘we were meant to be in second or third position’. She was a beautiful yearling but she just grew and grew, and the ground was just too quick for her the first day, when she didn’t let herself down at all. We were waiting for here, and thank God she got in as first reserve this morning. She’s a nice filly going forward and thanks very much to the owners (Andrew Rosen & Marcstown Farms) for having such patience with her. I’d say we’ll try and find a nice Listed race in France or somewhere.

we ran her at the end of April but I wasn’t 100 percent happy with her afterwards. She’d just lost her confidence so I gave her a break and then went at her again. I was hoping we’d get a little bit of rain and an ease in the ground, so the rain came just in time and it worked out well. I’m delighted to get a winner for the owners, as they are lovely people.
