Permission was given for Take Him Tom (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
The Veterinary Officer reported that upon inspection Telepieces (GB) was grey and not bay as published in the racecard.
Following the race, Tom Midgely reported that the pin on his left stirrup became dislodged on Take Him Tom (GB) as the race started causing him to lose his left stirrup and eventually pull the gelding up.
Being satisfied that the stirrup was in a serviceable condition, no further action was taken.
