At the request of the Raceday Stewards, T.P. Harney, rider of Desperado Genie, trained by Cian Collins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was flat out early on and stayed on galloping
The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.A. Jacob, rider of Supreme Authority(FR), concerning his use of the whip after jumping the second hurdle and then approximately four furlongs from home. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that D.A. Jacob was in breach of Regulation 10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday
The Raceday Stewards granted a request from J.P. Flavin, trainer of Reve Inoui, for an additional ten minutes to present his horse for identification by an IHRB Official, as provided for under the provisions of Rule 90(i)
