An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately half a furlong out involving Intervention (GB), placed second, ridden by Jason Watson, Little Boy Blue (GB), placed third, ridden by Harry Kimber and the winner, Secret Strength (IRE), ridden by Joe Leavy.
The Stewards deemed the interference to be accidental as Secret Strength (IRE), had shifted quickly right-handed away from the whip, before being corrected by Leavy, causing Little Boy Blue (GB) to be short of room and make contact with Intervention (GB).
