Permission was given for MORY OF MODENA to go to post early and for Rebel Star (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider possible interference approaching two and a half furlongs out involving Call Time (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Joe Leavy and Under Curfew (GB), placed third, ridden by Saffie Osborne.
The riders were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, and after viewing the available footage and listening to their evidence, the Stewards were unable to determine that interference had occurred, and that the incident was caused by Osborne’s mount stumbling independently.
Following the race, Jason Watson reported that ARLECCHINO’S GIFT, unplaced, was restless in the stalls and very slowly away.
