Leaving the stalls, Ventura Express (GB), placed fifth, jumped right-handed moving the winner, Fahrenheit Seven (GB), off its intended line which in turn moved Wen Moon (IRE), unplaced, right- handed, resulting in Wen Moon (IRE) being placed on the heels of Dream Composer (FR), placed second, and causing the rider to take a check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching half a furlong out involving, Dream Composer (FR), placed second, ridden by Joe Leavy and Ventura Express (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Jason Hart.
The interference was found to be accidental as Dream Composer (FR) shifted quickly left- handed despite the rider's best efforts, resulting in Ventura Express (GB) becoming crowded for room against the rail and causing the rider to take a check.
