An enquiry was held to consider whether Harry Davies, the rider of Coco's Dream (GB), had continued in the race when his mount was tailed off through fatigue and had no more to give, before finishing 9th of 9 runners, beaten by 221 lengths.

Kent, the BHA Veterinary Officer and the Racecourse Veterinary Surgeon were interviewed, and recordings of the incident were viewed.
Having heard their evidence and after giving consideration to reports from both Veterinarian's that Coco's Dream (GB) was lame right-fore post-race, Davies was suspended for 8 days after being adjudged to have continued in the race where it was contrary to the filly’s welfare and furthermore upon recognising that Coco's Dream (GB) went lame when slowed to a trot crossing the line, he failed to dismount at the earliest opportunity.
The performance of Lucky Draw (GB) which finished unplaced, was considered.
Ed de Giles' explanation that the mare did not face the kickback on this occasion was noted.
The performance of Harry The Norseman (GB) which finished unplaced, was considered.
Dylan Hogan reported that the gelding was never travelling and Louise Allan explained that Harry The Norseman (GB) did not face the kickback on this occasion.
