An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the 2 furlong marker, involving Fox Power (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Alistair Rawlinson, Blackjack (GB), unplaced, ridden by Rowan Scott and Souffionne (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Jason Hart.
The interference was found to be accidental as Blackjack (GB) shifted quickly left-handed away from light contact with Fox Power (IRE), at the same time as Souffionne (IRE) lugged slightly-right handed, causing Hart to take a check when tightened for room.
Following the race Paddy Mathers reported that Berkshire Phantom (IRE), placed third, was denied a clear run approximately three furlongs out.
