Rocky's Howya lands fifth Claiming win of the year
He does (love that grade) and I suppose after what happened at the start the last day (Galway, it was a no-show. It is just one of those things, I was too far back, and I don't think I'll ever get the spin on him again! Owner says no!. In that grade he is (dynamite), but I always kind of think when I come away out of a claimer that I will be able to place him in something that he can be competitive in, but I still haven't fired that dart - I will try again, though. I think he is a better horse going left-handed and Listowel might be an option. If he is going to do it (out of a claimer), it will be going left-handed at some place like that. He has won six races this year and it is hard to win one, so I'm delighted.
Thesilverbridle makes all to win to shed maiden tag
We did (think she would go well today) - she's not the biggest, but she is quite well-bred as a half-sister to Senecia. We bought her in Goresbridge (Horse Sales) and she's just a lovely little filly. She tries hard. The track was probably not ideal for her, I'd say she wants a bigger track even though she is a smaller horse - all she really is is a galloper. Alex just kind of kept it simple, bounced her out, and we knew she would stay. Delighted! The owners (The 119 Partnership) are very good supporters of mine , so delighted for them. We have been lucky enough buying out of Goresbridge and it is great to get another one on the board. We'll definitely keep her going. She is a novice now until the end of April, so she is going to have to keep going for that. I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up in Sedgefield or somewhere. Baby steps and then see where she takes us.

Elusive Ogie gets up late to win Bellewstown feature for McCarthy
He's had a frustrating season - he looked like he was going to win in Killarney in May and unseated. He looked like he was going to go well in Killarney and made a hames of the same hurdle (July) again. Delighted for the owner that he's after getting a little bit back out of the season. Denis (Enright) has been very patient, he's a lovely man to train for and I'm delighted that he's won for him. He's (King) just so cool. It was never happening and he was never panicking - delighted for Dan, he gave him a peach of a ride. He'll definitely go to Listowel, I'd imagine. He has options - there's two and a half miles, and three miles. I think Galway (over an extended three-miles) the ground turned up too soft on the day.
Daboya belies market drift to win for Donohoe
I was delighted when they (three hurdles) came out, it was more like a Flat race. As well as that, she had so little experience, she won in Thurles after jumping really novicey. She has only had three runs (over hurdles), and we didn't do a lot of schooling with her. Danny sits up on her the odd day and does a lovely job for us. She has been in great form all summer, she has won two and was second in Tramore the last day. She's a tough mare. We'll look for another one of those mares' novices' hurdles probably, and maybe go back on the Flat too, until the ground gets heavy. Going the right way and she is going to stay anyway - for a Flat horse, she saw it out well.
