FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Banduic Eile is the starting point but preference is with DEDILLON which, despite being reasonably limited, has significant advantages race fitness-wise here. Banduic Eile was a smart performer on easy ground last year, finished second in the Debutante Stakes and attained a mark of 107. However she disappointed badly on reappearance at Dundalk in March and while the surface then may have counted against her, a race-day excuse by her jockey stated 'she suddenly got legless' and hasn't been seen since. She was withdrawn, due to going, at Gowran in June and Navan this month and while she has soft ground in her favour today, nonetheless needs to confirm her juvenile promise. DEDILLON is an inferior horse to Banduic Eile on overall form but might be a safer pick today under her usual 5lbs claimer. DEDILLON has shown a useful level of ability, has bumped into a few useful performers in defeat and while drawn wide today, loves soft ground and is race-fit. Magic Fountain is absent since May and, interestingly, was 10.25L behind Kiss For A Jewel, which beat DEDILLON 2.75L subsequently, on her last start at Naas. Magic Fountain could well improve plenty on her reappearance run today but has yet to show worthwhile form testing ground. Guinevere has 3.75L to find with DEDILLON on previous form while Sheranda ran a nice race on debut at Cork recently but needs to improve to win. Getaway Katie Mai is unlikely to be suited to dropping to this trip.%0A
