FormscanBy Gary Carson - DEFINITEADARE won well here on Thursday and may be able to secure a quick follow up win. The Court Cave gelding had run a big race on his handicap debut at Clonmel before opening his account last time. A 5lb penalty doesn't look that bad now given the way he won the other day. This doesn't look a strong contest. Amlad was second last time and although beaten seven-and-a-half lengths it was a decent run and he has to be considered with Rachael Blackmore a notable booking. The Great White showed some decent form earlier in the season and trying better ground again now he could be one to keep an eye on.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-95
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 12st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won.
