The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the home straight involving Aurora's Beauty, ridden by J. Cleary, placed fifth, Just Another Eagle, ridden by R. Donaghue-Leahy, fell and Blathnaid, ridden by Eryka Snioch, unplaced. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. Cleary stated that he maintained a true line, felt he had plenty room and caused no interference. R. Donaghue-Leahy stated that she felt pressure from the outside so she gave a shout when things became tight rounding the bend. Eryka Snioch stated that she maintained her line and felt no pressure. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Emily Grifferty, rider of Syosset, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Emily Grifferty was in breach of R.10.3(a)(use of the whip in the forehand position) and having considered her clean record in this regard, they suspended her for two racedays.

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards rated 0-60
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
Riders - Apprentices who hold an Apprentice Licence under Rules of Racing issued by any recognised Turf Authority and who have not lost the right to claim the 5lb allowance (65 winners).
