The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ballintogher, trained by Daniel James Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Cecco (USA), ridden by J.M. Sheridan, placed first, and Washington Street, ridden by C.T. Keane, placed second, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

C.D. Hayes, rider of Dandy Land, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got hampered going into the first bend

D. Browne McMonagle, rider of La Flute, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got carried out going into the first bend

B.M. Coen, rider of Woolridge (GB), trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away and when he got into stride ran keen into the first bend and had to take off of heels. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
