Permission was given for Woodhay Whisper (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and go early to post; and for South Shore Island (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Michael Keady was cautioned as Master Dandy (IRE) had arrived in the Parade Ring without its declared cheekpieces, which were then located and fitted to the gelding before going to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final ½ furlong, involving Woodhay Whisper (IRE), placed second, ridden by Charles Bishop and Nordic Glory (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Ryan Kavanagh.
Bishop was cautioned for careless riding as he shifted his mount right-handed to continue his run, taking Nordic Glory (IRE) off its intended line.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Falmouth Boy (IRE), unplaced, had bled from the nose.
