The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Hugh Paul Finegan, trainer of Lady Bluebird, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).The Raceday Stewards subsequently ordered the withdrawal of Lady Bluebird as the animal failed to present at the newly approved time
The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the starter where it appeared American Money broke into a canter before the Starter had dropped his flag. Having viewed the recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that American Money had broken into a canter despite the riders best efforts and no further action was warranted
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Duke Of Leggagh, trained by Michael Mulvany, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost a left fore shoe but to be otherwise post race normal
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Uhavemeinstitches, trained by J.Motherway, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have slightly moved a right hind shoe but to be otherwise post race normal
P.M. O'Brien, rider of Duke Of Leggagh, trained by Michael Mulvany, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran flat
S.D. Torrens, rider of Uhavemeinstitches, trained by J.Motherway, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action and was subsequently pulled up.
