he’s always been a nice horse but I was disappointed in Leopardstown the last day when the race didn’t work out for him on better ground over two miles. Danny (Mullins, jockey then) was very good and looked after him when he wasn’t happening. I’ve no real plan for him and we’ll look now to see where we go next. He’s crying out for a fence, he’s a beautiful jumper and has loads of scope. It’s great to start the year with a winner. M A Molloy, trainer

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sticwiththeprocess (GB), trained by T.M

Walsh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident after jumping the third last involving Nelson Muntz, ridden by C.M. Quirke, and Sticwiththeprocess (GB), ridden by M.P. Walsh where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.M. Quirke said he held his line and didn't cause any interference. M.P. Walsh said he went for a gap on the run to the bend but once there was no room he accepted it

Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
