Permission was given for Gilet (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Approaching half a furlong out, Gilet (IRE), placed second, moved quickly right-handed away from the whip before being corrected, making brief contact with Plantadream (GB), placed third, moving the gelding off its intended line, which in turn gave a slight brush to Talis Evolvere (IRE), placed fifth.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Gilet (IRE).
Following the race, Hector Crouch reported that Great Blasket (IRE), unplaced, hung badly left- handed.
