Formscan By Alan Magee - SUMMER IS TOMORROW (9) recorded a third career win when readily landing the odds at Gowran before a cracking effort last time when prominent throughout in a valuable 1m2f Curragh handicap. The Joseph O’Brien-trained colt had Manton Bay, who didn’t enjoy the clearest of passages but reopposes on 5lb worse terms, a length and a half behind in fifth. Action would be difficult to beat if reproducing his second to Item in the Dante Stakes at York this spring but has been acting as a pacemaker when soundly beaten since. Caught U Sleeping, Latin American and Shaihaan are others to consider.
