Formscan - STAR OF ORION lost little in defeat when finishing a close-up third here last month and, off an unchanged mark with forecast underfoot conditions to suit, he gets the nod to go two places better. Leadman has shown enough in his qualifying runs to suggest that he can be competitive in a race of this nature on his handicap debut. Darkness has gone well in some big handicaps and his mark is starting to fall so his turn in the winner's enclosure may be imminent again.
