Third at Musselburgh last month but only beaten a length, the Beckford gelding could get off the mark at the ninth attempt here if he repeats or betters that effort. Tim Easterby is also in among the winners and we can expect a big run from Redcar third Empire Power on her handicap debut, while Far Ahead could be a different proposition returning to this trip.
