Formscan By Tom Weekes - HELEN DE POURTALES is a previous distance winner and is in good form. Her last win was in October 202 but her rating has slipped to this lower level in recent times and while 3lb higher than when second at Gowran, today's same rider claims 7lb, against 2lb previously. Cometh The Man is a 34-race maiden but ran well in a claimer last month. His previous Killarney run over a mile was on unsuitably soft ground and while now raised to a 57 mark, competing at this distance could bring improvement and he is still just a four year old. Ever Rock is a previous course winner who is 5lb higher than when beating a subsequent winner at Fairyhouse but has done almost all her racing over shorter distances. Eglish was behind Ever Rock at Fairyhouse and while she has won twice at this distance, has yet to win or finish second in 17 turf starts.
